Kitchen remodeling (full remodel) adds approximately $25,000-40,000 to your equity or home value. Over time this grows exponentially, especially if you keep your kitchen well-maintained and use a modern well-designed, clean style and good-quality materials. We have seen kitchens done up to 10-15 years ago that still hold up today because the work was clean, modern, and nice quality. We find when customers have an older taste in style, for cabinets, mirrors, lights, etc this can feel dated even if updating your kitchen. Unless you have a designer sense in retro looks and use quality materials, when selling it may be seen as a tear down kitchen even if it’s remodeled.
