IGS Construction, which stands for Ignacio Garcia and Sons Construction, was founded by Ignacio Garcia in the early 2000s after years of dedicated work in both interior and exterior residential construction. Ignacio played a pivotal role in developing many of the beautiful home communities throughout South County, contributing to everything from landscaping to neighborhood signage.
Driven by a desire to create his own path, Ignacio established IGS Construction, drawing inspiration from his beloved bulldog, Blanca, for the brand.
In 2016, Ignacio partnered with designer Maria, marking a new chapter in the company as they began remodeling homes together. Now based in their Mission Viejo office, Ignacio and Maria collaborate to help clients bring their dream homes to life.

When he’s not busy with renovations, Ignacio enjoys working on his project truck and spending quality time with his family. He also looks forward to occasional trips to visit relatives in Puerto Vallarta and other travel adventures. However, nothing excites Ignacio more than rolling up his sleeves and diving into a new building project.
With a rich background in the arts, Maria has directed theater and film, worked on music composition and engineering for film and television, and has extensive experience in web and software development. She holds degrees from Columbia University and UCLA.
